Ultraviolet (UV) Range Simulators

• Man-Portable Aircraft Survivability Trainer (MAST)

- MAST is designed to deliver threat stimulation of missile warning systems, replicating the UV effects of surface-to-air missiles. MAST offers day/night video recording for after-action review to support pilot capability building and technique development.

• UV LED Mallina

- The Mallina is a development and operational test and evaluation tool, as well as a training aid for aircraft military vehicle and ship missile defense systems.

• Phantom

- The Phantom has been designed to provide both a laser threat and a synchronized temporal missile plume signature to simulate both the aircraft’s laser and missile warning systems.

• UV Griffen

- The Ultraviolet (UV) Griffen-50 is a medium-range, electro-optical (EO) system designed to stimulate UV missile warning systems (MWS) such as AN/AAR-47, -54, -57 (CMWS) , -60 (MILDS) and MAWS 200/300.

• UV Baringa

- UV Baringa is a pre-mission flight line confidence test set designed to stimulate UV missile warning systems.

Infrared (IR) Simulators

• IR Phoenix

- Phoenix is a medium-to-long range, electro-optical (EO) system designed to stimulate IR Missile Warning Systems such as Elix-IR, NGC IR NexGen, MIRAS and PAWS.

• Baringa IR

- Baringa is a confidence test set used to stimulate one- or two-color IR missile warning systems. A rugged, battery-operated test set that can be handheld or supported on a simple tripod, the IR Baringa is programmed to radiate spectral and temporal, classified and unclassified missile IR plume signatures.

• Hydra

- Hydra test set is used to stimulate laser warning receiver systems. The Hydra v3 contains two near-infrared (IR) pulsed lasers, with the Hydra v4 housing an additional continuous wave (CW) near-IR laser.

• MSTS

- The MSTS is an end-to-end flight line confidence test set for directional infrared countermeasure, or DIRCM, and ultraviolet missile systems. The MSTS is ruggedized, battery-operated, and can be handheld or mounted on a tripod.
